I'm not sure exactly what is causing the problem, but the left-ear IEM puts out about a third of the volume of the right hand one. I was unable to find any blockages or physical reason the monitor is muffled, but it's rather dissapointing.
These really punch above their weight as far as the detail is concerned, pair them with a nice set of tips, and you have a very clear sound, that is hard to beat at the price. If I had to find one thing to criticize it would be that the top end can come off as sharp, which can be fatiguing in tracks with lots of intense treble.
They sound amazing for the price, I purchased them during a sale and it worth it. I used them for work outs and people ask me if they are expensive. lol. Cable is kind of wonky but is manageable and also came with a carrying case.
