HarisJavedSearch PM-50 reviews online. There's a wealth of reviews on different websites. My go to would be Head-Fi.
I'd recommend doing a lot of reading, cause there's a pretty consistent opinion that doesn't really line up with what Zeos heard. From what I gather he got a different version than the one currently being sold?

I have the PM-50 and also brought the harmonicdyne helios , the NDH20 and the KPH30 as Zeos all recommended. I like the NDH20 . I can not say that for the harmonicdyne. It is a very good headphone for its price , but can't listen to it for more than half an hour( with different pads changing). The treble is too bright ; And the vocal is shouty and uncomfortably invasive. At Canjam, I compared the PM-50 with the Sendy aiva and decided to go with the PM-50. No, It is not analytical. To me, It is more of a " vinyl" feel headphone: organic, warmish, mid-focus and laid-back. I think it all depends on your ears and which sound profile you are looking for. My headphones are the Modded nighthawk carbon, NDH20, K1000 and the PM-50. I am probably letting the helios go. Guess Zeos is more offended by its original asking price. LOL

" didn't know there were mods to these 'phones" The Nighthawks are dark, I settled on a duelund silver cable to make the trebles more pronounced and tighten up the lows a little bit; Also the original earpads have hollowness on some tracks, so I changed the pads have smaller cutout( the sound stage decrease a little bit, though). It just suit my taste better. No need to mod if you like the way it is. Cheers

I did change out the cable which added a touch of (needed) brightness to the nighthawks, but I also ran sine waves and pink noise through the ‘phones while on vacation for 24 hrs/ 10 days. I I came back to an appreciably better sound, but some of that warmth was still there So I added the silver cables (thinking about going Moon Audio cables). Pads are stock for now. I missed the Andover’s with hemming but I’ll still keep an eye out since I’d like to add my first planar to my stable. Thanks for this convo!

Those look ohhh so lovely, but despite the look, PM-50 is going to be a very tough sell considering the success of phones such as Sundara @ $350 and Deva @ $300 by HifiMan as well as how much popular reviewers such as Zeos adore Sundare while having different opinion about those.

actually to my surprise and unlike the way I know him, this time he provided some negative feedback, same as when he reviewed P9 of B&W. Usually he is overly exited or diplomatic about new products he reviews. Take him for what he is, an entertainer. He carries out analytical sound test, but besides that his reviews on the Tube are more of shows rather than presentations of scientist measurements, but since he is the very one out there who has listened to most of the phones and amps on the earth, when he say stuff is shit, it is shit.

MalinI agree with much of what you said except for the last sentence - that if Zeos says they’re crap, then they’re crap, because he famously panned the Shure SRH1540 which get good reviews elsewhere and which I truly do enjoy, and so while I now hesitate to buy these cans bc of Zeos’ review of these, I also know there’s a chance he hated them and I’ll like them - just as with the SRH1540 and the Beyerdynamic T90, both of which I own and like.

Hi all, saw my name pop up so I thought I would add to the discussion as well. Another reviewer and I did a follow-each-other review of the same pair at the request of Andover. We both immediately noted that the clamp pressure was too tight and passed this along. As a result, the guide came out as a "short-term" fix. Since then, the redesign of the headband and adjusting has occurred. This is a good sign from the company (as they should). I also think that the PM-50 is a worthy addition into this price point, which is extremely tight and full wil options from many manufacturers.
As another stated it is neutral. I would agree. I do not normally like neutral-ish headphones (I prefer warm), but the PM-50 is one in which I do. This is also a headphone, which will reward you if fed from a good amp. That said, I had no problems using it with my iPhone, but I would not gander to take this outdoors or on a commute, they are too good at which to look. Anyway, I am here not necessarily to counter any disagreement, but provide that we all like different sound signatures (and that's the way it should be). If you like neutral-type headphones the PM-50 competes very well at that segment, especially at this price. Others are more energetic, some more subdued, but the PM-50 to me gives a nice solid middle ground sound, which can be enjoyed when one needs to relax.

I own this unit and did some impressions on Head-Fi's Facebook page - these units are neutral kings. They're probably one of the most neutral headphones I think I've ever heard. The clarity and separation are very good. You wont get super deep bass or sparkly highs, what you will get is a very accurate neutral sound stage. Perfect for sound producers. Also very well built and good looking headphones. My only gripe is the collective stance that these are not for big ears, they do fit more like on-ear headphones, but that isn't a deal breaker.

OK, Not to alarm anyone but my review of these is coming real soon and I rip these things apart. I feel like this is a $200 Mediocre headphone they were trying to sell at $500 and that really grinds my gears. If they at least sounded decent I could PASS them at $200 but I outright wouldn't.. So now that they are $400 it doesn't change my opinion in the slightest. I will get it out Monday for you all.

The v1’s were apparently from last year and no longer sold. I’m fairly certain that these are the improved versions from the conversations Ive had with Andover. I definitely agree with Zeos’s assessment that the headband isn’t the best and the earcups are kind of small, but Andover has told me they are shipping me the new pads at no charge. Not sure if that will be the case with every order or if they will silently replace or add the pads to future orders. I think if they improve the ear cups, That will make the head band less of an issue. My pair has a really good neutral tone, so I do feel there may have been some discrepancies between review units. I’ve seen some reviews on other major review sites (at least with the newer units) and they seam to echo my thoughts. Notably, reviewers from head-fi, headfonics , qobuz and hi-fi trends are in line with these newer units.
