What is the purpose of this 280$ value... noise making machine?...

I vividly recall being in high school in the mid-90's and hearing The Bordedom's Soul Discharge for the first time. That album reshaped how I thought about music going forward. When I saw that some people had expressed an interest in these boxes, it made me reminisce to those earlier days. And after playing with the Infection IN-2 for a while I was reminded what I love most about music; it can be just about anything you want it to be! Now this lovely box sits on my desk and I look at it thinking what if this had been available to Merzebow, The Boredoms or Psychic TV all those years ago, what would they have produced? Just a little food for thought from an old rivet-head.
