I wanted to really like these headphones as I was a big fan of the original wired ATH-M50, however they seemed more base heavy than I remembered with the original. In 2021, I still like the idea of having a portable studio monitor, however I would look at the new version rather than the original M50xBT.
**3.5 would be my real score**
I have been in the headphones space for a little over 10 years now.
These cans are not in my top pic.
I would refrain to spend as much on these if you are hesitant.
Here are my reasons: (negatives)
Sound quality is par to sub-par at best (nice mids, highs are screechy and lows are loose)
Bluetooth connectivity is very wonky. (Once connected they work fine though, the issue is changing from one device to the next
They get hot. I have many closed and open headphones, these are very hot
They get uncomfortable for me after 1h30 of use, the squeeze is quite annoying
IMO still expensive for what you get, even if this drop is decent
Positives:
Battery life <3 (50+hours for me)
Nice little bag and the stow away easily
Not ANC but the are very closed (not much leakage ... but hot)
Look good
Bluetooth has great range
You can use them as PC/Video Conference headphones (They have an integrated mic)
All in all, I believe I will change the pads and see if this helps out my listening experience a bit.
I think more companies should do B-Stock like this. It's worth it for the consumer in the end, even if the drop dates are later.
I think I was biased by my own beliefs, I was expecting more because of the hype M50's have around them, and usually that is not the best sign.
** I do recommend for someone who understands what they are getting. For someone newer in the Headphones world, I think they check a lot of good boxes, for someone who has been around the block a bit I believe they are a tad Flawed.**

These go with me almost anywhere and have never disappointed me. B-stock it may be but had never acted or looked that way, so i'll take it as a discount. There was a point where there were some really obnoxious loud pops but it's been awhile since i've heard them.
The Audio-Technica M50 has long been my favorite pair of headphones, and sometimes you're just not in the mood to deal with a cable. These sound just as good to me as the original, but they're wireless! The only downside is the tiny buzz I hear in the background when in a quiet room with nothing playing; it seems the internal circuitry isn't completely quiet. That said, the buzz is not present when the bluetooth receiver is off, so you can always run them with the included wire for the pure experience. Fantastic.
