One of the most discussed and well-reviewed on-ear headphones on Head-Fi, the original Beyerdynamic DT 1350 needs no introduction. Tyll at Innerfidelity gave the DT 1350 his highest recommendation, and the headphone still retains its status as a Hall of Famer to this day. In late 2013 without any sort of fanfare, Beyerdynamic quietly released the DT 1350 CC. Featuring larger earpads, a newly designed headband and a 2.5m coiled cable allowing for greater freedom of movement, the CC aims to fix the comfort and usability issues in its predecessor.
To this day, information on the 1350 CC model is sparse and lacking, and a quick search on Google turns up little information. But all is not lost - a buyer at Massdrop recently stumbled across the CC, and came away with very favorable impressions of the headphone. Now available on Massdrop for a limited time, here's your chance to give the latest revision of the DT 1350 a listen for yourself.
Note: We are only offering the Coiled Cable model for this drop.
The DT 1350 CC comes equipped 80 Ohm Tesla drivers that offer a high degree of efficiency while minimizing distortion levels to product a balanced, analytical sound signature perfect for professionals and audiophiles alike. This closed-back, on-ear headphone offers an ideal combination of tight bass, lifelike vocals, and articulate highs that come together for a fantastic listening experience.
With a flexible split headband and lightweight design, the DT 1350 CC offers hours of comfortable use in the studio or on-the-go. The DT 1350 CC delivers excellent ambient noise attenuation (measured at 19 dB), so you can get lost in the music even in the noisiest of situations. If you want to listen out of one ear, you'll find the 90 degree swiveling earcups a very appealing feature.
