I would definitely purchase these if I didn't just get them. An amazing headphone. Works great with the Astro Mix Amp Pro for your xbox on or playtstation 4.
The only thing I didn't care for is that they do not have a detachable cable or a mute switch somewhere

Great news! Since you all asked so nicely I spoke with the vendor who is allowing us to extend this drop an extra 24 hours. I want all of you to get the best price so make sure to post on your socials about these excellent cans.

I agree with Ptrok. Can you please extend the drop. I really wish more people could have heard these like I did. They would realize what a great buy they are at the $279 level. You will be hard pressed to find a better bang for the buck deal for this type of headset at that price. They really are that good! Don't expect Sennheiser HD800 performance. If you do then you are really not an individual who understands what headphone to buy. For what these are meant to do, they are superb! For gaming and still be able to listen to close to audiophile level cans, they are pretty darn hard to beat. But, I will probably still buy them at the $319. They are still worth it. Hell, you pay 350-500 for Beats studio and they sound like CRAP! I am simply amazed at how many individuals buy into mass marketing crap when they can get better, much better for the money. Oh well.

Can we get this drop extended by a couple of days? Feel like it could pull through with a little time.

All I can say is I have the Sennheiser PC360, actually 2 of them, last years version and the new version that came out this year. Both are really good units and I gave them to my boys. I heard the MMX300 and they are better, so I commited to buy these. If enough people join at the 279.99 level, these are a GREAT buy for that. At that price they are about $100 less than the Sennheiser 360's and are superior build and sound-wise. If you let them pass at the $279 price level, good luck as Beyerdynamic does not drop their pricing or give very many specials. I have the T1's and the T90's and all I can say is if you want a headset and headphones in 1 unit, and cannot afford to buy 2 separate items, it does not get any better than this at this price point and the value you get. So, 2 days left folks. If you let these get away at the $279..........big mistake and you will be sorry later. They may never come back at this price!

So I have bought these back in August 5th, 2014, and have been using them on average of 4-5 hours a day (work and games/movies).
-These are NOT for you if you prefer desktop mics. The voice quality of the built-in mic is between a Modmic and a Audio-Technica AT2020, once your settings are optimal. -Yes, those pads are VERY comfortable, with no signs of physical fatigue after a long sessions. - Sound quality is excellent (natural, with a slight emphasis on bass), especially with a DAC/amp like the Aune T1 MK2.
To note: I have had a single wiring issue several months in where the left channel wasn't receiving any signal. Printed out a warranty form on Beyer's website, filled it, and shipped it to a local warehouse in New York. Got it back within the week, no charge on the repair and return shipping.

If you're interested in DT 770s with a detachable mic and cable, just pick up the Custom One Pros because that's essentially what they are.
With the MMX 300 seems as though Beyer ratcheted up the price by making marginal upgrades and branding it with the "gaming" moniker which adds $100 to the price.

I understand some of you may prefer the add on mic setup but from my experience they suck. I even purchased the antlion and the sound quality is way less than the Sennheiser PC 360 I have. All my friends notice the difference and ask if I have a fan on. However, I know it serves a purpose to some people.
I am curious about these particular headsets and hope people would refrain from bashing these cans based on speculation. If you have not directly heard these headsets please do not comment. I would really like this drop to pull through because I have signed up for it.

These really are a great headset. The sound is truly high end for the purpose they serve. They sound like the DT770's to a large degree. I have both Sennheiser and Audio Technica Headsets but neither sound as good or are built as well as these.
