Blue’s Headphone Lineup: 5 Models to Choose From
For the past 20 years, Blue microphones have been a staple for studio recording, podcasting, and more. Now, the company brings its audio expertise to the world of headphones. The Lola aims for high detail retrieval and a comfortable, easily adjustable fit on the head. The Mix-Fi is the best suited for studio monitoring, with superior sound isolation, great detail, and three analog modes that allow for versatility at each stage of the mixing and listening workflow. Unique to the group, the Satellite is a Bluetooth headphone with active noise cancellation that maintains the sound quality we’ve come to expect from Blue. The Mix-Fi, Sadie, Satellite, and Ella models all have built-in headphone amplifiers. The first three use dynamic drivers, while the Ella—handmade in small quantities by expert craftsmen—features planar-magnetic drivers for the perfect balance between impact and transparent detail.

Blue Microphones was founded in 1995 by well-known session musician Skipper Wise and recording engineer Martins Saulespurens. Currently headquartered in Westlake Village, the brand has received attention for its high-end studio microphones and USB microphones. Models like the Yeti are wildly popular with podcasters.
