Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnæs has carved out his own niche in the EDC community with a wide range of offbeat, yet highly functional designs. The Boker Plus Vox F3 is just that. With its thick 5-millimeter clip-point blade made from S35VN steel, this hefty folder is built to take abuse in the field. One side of the thick handle is made from titanium, with an integral lock bar to secure the blade, while the other is made from titanium, G-10, or carbon fiber. One-handed blade deployment is a cinch thanks to the thumb hole. The G-10 model features a rugged stonewash on the handle, backspacer, clip, and blade, while the titanium and carbon fiber models get upgraded to blue anodized clip and backspacer, with a bead-blasted finish on the titanium handle and satin finish on the blade.
Note: At checkout, choose between the G-10, carbon fiber (+ $10), and titanium (+ $20) version. Quantities are limited to 150 units of each model. Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
Developed by Crucible Industries (one of the leading manufacturers of specialty steels for the cutlery industry) and Chris Reeve (arguably the most famous knifemaker in the world), S35VN is perhaps the most balanced blade steel ever created in terms of all-around performance. It’s made through a process of powdered metallurgy known as CPM, which results in near perfect consistency in the distribution of carbides. Compared to conventional melting practices, the CPM process produces a steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.
