I also got the Jive in the last grab bag. These are almost identical IMO. At least from the sources I use. I'm no audiophile but to me sound is the same. Fit is the same. Price is less. They compare favorably to several of the Sony headsets I've bought for $25-35 except in regard to comfort. Not a huge fan of the comply tips everyone raves about but they are included as well for what it's worth.
These are some of the best sounding earbuds I've ever owned... unfortunately they broke for me after 2 months. Still, price wise they're better than anything else I've used. They even come with Comply eartips. Also, it's worth noting that brainwavz agreed to replace them when they broke.
I got 5 pairs in the last drop, which came in time for Xmas gifting. Got to keep in mind the price point and you won't be disappointed. It's been three-four months, they still working and not broken, Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
For me on a PC with Audioquest Dragonfly, I find the bass is pretty emphasized and the highs almost missing. They are fine for out and about using my phone as a music player. If you are looking for hi-fi, then keep on looking.
