Chane A2.4 Speaker

Chane’s highly-regarded A2.4 LCR speaker delivers wide, even dispersion and more natural dialog than many conventional horizontal center speakers. Used as a vertical pair, the A2.4 also makes for superb stereo. The A2.4's carefully aligned acoustical array improves dispersion linearity and lowers phase and time errors throughout the crossover region. Response is tightly matched, while the long-axis behavior for this three-driver MTM speaker is as linear as it is a pleasure to hear. The planar leaf tweeter and its molded aluminum face plate extend to over 30 kHz, while twin double-duty, XBL2 'SplitGap' mid-bass drivers make for better resolution and higher output.  The A2.4 LCR speaker's casework provides welcome weight and durability—a step up from many mid-level speakers. Adding it all up, the A2.4 delivers extraordinary clarity, enveloping three-dimensional imaging, and substantial dynamic headroom.

Like the A2rx-c, the A2.4’s easily rotated flat leaf tweeter allows it to be used vertically or horizontally, making this speaker a great option for left, center, or right channel use. It’s commonly used as a center channel speaker or in pairs as main loudspeakers placed on stands away from major boundaries.  Two bass-tuning options transition the A2.4 between stand-alone, full-range use and classic 80Hz subwoofer integration. As a center speaker, it has excellent intelligibility and an exceptionally linear response. In a pair of powerful stereo monitors, it delivers dynamic, clean, open sound—even at elevated levels.
