There are so many other players at this price point that just blow it out of the water for features, portability and reliability. - If you are looking for a "daily driver" I suggest you look elsewhere, this thing is going to annoy the heck of out you. HOWEVER, I personally love the look and feel of the Colorfly C players, the retro design with the volume slider makes for a unique player experience.
I consider this a great addition a long with it's older(younger? lol) brother the C4 to any collection of players, but not as a reliable daily portable player.
Benzerkif there are so many better players out there for under $200 would you mind listing 3-5 of them for us? i picked this up about a month ago about $140 and am VERY happy with it, no issues in terms of readability or SQ for what it is, if there really are players out there that blow it out of the water i would love to hear about them and add 'em to my collection. not being a jerk, i just want some nice DAPs for a nice price. lol
TheIzzardKingOh man, there are so many! To name a few: XDuoo X10, X10T, X3, X2 or D3, Fiio X3 II , X5 II or X1 II, Xuelin IHIFI770C, Shanling M2, Aune M1S.. If you do some shopping around you can get some of the bigger boys for $200 or less as well.
Benzerki remember seeing a graph of many DAPs compared, most of the daps you mentioned plus higher ones were there too, colorfly C10 was better than most of them in terms of sound quality... only beaten by Precision and Luxury DAP
blazer39You can't make such a bold claim without providing the source.
Secondly, exactly what kind of measurement did this graph show that would indicate that the C10 is better than other DAPs in regard to sound quality?
TheIzzardKingUltimately, the best instrument to measure whether a DAP is good or not, or any audio equipment for that matter, is one's sense of hearing. Quantitive measurements have limitations.; they don't paint a complete picture.
TheIzzardKingi did find image of that graph in that exact thread...its a Chinese graph and someone pointed out whats its about.
there is a lot of great brands only known in china and sometimes Russia too, but not popular in Western countries...colorfly and ostry are good examples of these brands.
I consider this a great addition a long with it's older(younger? lol) brother the C4 to any collection of players, but not as a reliable daily portable player.
