Product Description
To prevent that high performance computer of yours from overheating, you need a fan manufactured for the same level of operation. Forget the stack of three or four inferior products you jury-rigged into your desktop and go with the one cooling solution to rule them all Read More
Are the specs correct? Speed- 800-15000 RPM. I think there might be one too many zeros somewhere in there :)
I wonder how much quieter they are than my Artic Cooling PWM fans that push 74 CFM at 1,350 RPM vs this Cougar fan which only does 70.5 CFM at 1,500 RPM.

The Vortex (these) are 4-pin PWM rubber-mounted fans, but if you don't need/already have rubber mounts or a fan controller, the Cougar Turbines 4 pack is on sale at Newegg for $27. As far as performance goes, there's not much appreciable difference between the two types.

These frequently drop to the $10-12 range on newegg/amazon.
For some reason the actual model isn't listed. If you want to do your own research it is the CF-V12HP
You can order them and have them at your door before this drop is even over for $47 shipped.
I got 3 of these last time they went on sale for $36 shipped.
Unless I'm totally mistaken on a certain part of this drop.
FrambledThey're frequently at $10-12, but every now & then, they even include a MIR on top of the promo codes, bringing it to $5 AR shipped. I've seen it at least a couple of times. The 'egg basically owns the 'real deal' on this model.
I don't mind the color so much, all my fans are Cougars. Amazingly silent, and they move so much air and keep everything incredibly cool.
If I needed more fans I'd definitely jump on this
