Designed by Jim Hammond, the first ever knifemaker to collaborate with CRKT back in 1994, the Hammond Cruiser is all function. It features a nearly 4-inch blade made from 8Cr14MOV stainless steel for ease of sharpening and corrosion resistance. The handle is made from Zytel: an abrasion- and impact-resistant thermoplastic with high strength. When the knife is open, you can use the built-in LAWKS system set pin to ensure it stays open—great for those tasks that require a bit more oomph. Of course, it’s got a pocket clip for easy carry on the go.
Note: At checkout, you'll have your choice from 10 different options. See checkout options for more details. A member of the Knifemakers Guild since 1978, Jim Hammond was the first ever custom knifemaker chosen to collaborate with CRKT. After gaining recognition for his simple, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional designs, Hammond helped develop the SEALTAC tactical knife in 1981, which to this day is one of the most widely used tactical knives in military conflicts around the world. Presently, he continues to produce military- and collector-grade knives operating out of his home state of Alabama.
