What comes with silver cables, customizable bass response, great sound, tons of ear tips, and integrated cable management? The DUNU DN-19 Tai Chi in ear monitors do. From aesthetics to sound and fit, the Tai Chi has everything you want. The sound is really fun with emphasis on lows and highs. Piano riffs are lively and colorful, Steel Drums sparkle, and violins are surprisingly detailed for IEMs in this price range. Some of the nice high frequency response can be attributed to the solid silver cables DUNU used when building the Tai Chi. The low end is monstrous; don't think earbuds can deliver bass? Listen to the intro of "Slam" by Pendulum on the Tai Chi, then tell us about earbud bass. Don't enjoy the low frequency boom? DUNU's got you covered. You can alter the Tai Chi's bass response by plugging the bass port (with the included plug) and swapping out the eartips (the Tai Chi has a set for every fit and sound signature). In addition to the sound, DUNU put a TON of thought into the design of these earphones. Instead of using a straight down cable, DUNU built these headphones to be used with over the ear cable management. Putting the cables above and around your ear reduces stress on the connector and eliminates cable jitter. DUNU also realized cable management is a big problem with earbuds, nobody wants tangles, so they put a Dell-style silicon strap on the cable. No more annoying tangles, only delicious sound.
