From El Casco, a Spanish company with a long history in metalwork, this heirloom-quality stapler adds a touch of luxury to any desk. It’s made from solid brass, lacquered with your choice of finishes, and polished by hand to a shine. Visible springs and screws create an industrial aesthetic. Under its arm, the stapler is appointed with a knightly logo—appropriate for El Casco, whose name translates to “the helmet.”
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of finishes between Chrome/Black, Chrome/Gray, Gold/Black (+ $20), Satin (+ $40), Chrome (+ $75), Chrome/Gold (+ $95), and Gold (+ $110). Quantities are limited to 2 units per finish.
Founded in September of 1920, El Casco was originally a firearm factory. When the economic downturn came in 1929 and the arms industry began to struggle, the company decided to expand its product line to include staplers and pencil sharpeners—and later, desk accessories. Despite modern advancements, El Casco’s products are still largely made by hand and each part individually numbered for assembly.
