I'll talk about the actual experience with Massdrop. The watch was delivered totally brand new, box and papers included. As usual, this is grey market so the warranty/registration card comes blank. The watch comes from New Jersey so there's no way to tell who's the actual vendor of this one. The shipment is fast and happened before the estimated date, considering that I got it to USA as well, so no taxes or import duties. I must admit that the watch is quite beautiful in person. Believe when I tell you that every photo I've found doesn't make it any justice at all. If you search, you'll discover that it's hard to find actual photos of this watch... which is likely because this is a limited edition (399 available) If you read the discussion, you'll find out that many guys had several doubts regarding the quality of this watch. Now that I actually have it, I can tell you that you won't regret this buy at all. This watch reminds me of my Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Caliber 36 caliper (the first one with a caliper to easily read 1/10 seconds)

Yes I know this doesn't have the rotating discs or the linear seconds, but the black & red styling really reminds me this Grand Carrera. The price was a steal considering what you're getting. I'm almost sure this has sapphire crystal (I don't dare trying to scracth it to verify) and there are several pages making this remark. The movement is the ETA Valgranges A07.211 so the subspheres and the case back are well proportioned considering the 45 mm case. Check these pages: The case is mostly brushed and has some polished sections. It's thick indeed but totally perfect for a sport watch like this one. I love the chronograph buttons with the "pedal" styling. These buttons are solid and somewhat hard to press but the hands move smoothly without skipping or anything like that. Good overall functionality indeed. The dial is very legible but the lume is subpar comparing with my Seiko Alpinist for example. I won't even try comparing with my diving watches. Maybe if the seconds hand where white, you could easily determine which are the chrono hands, because they're red. I'm not really a fan of Scuderia Ferrari but I happen to own several apparel made by Puma because I really like the Ferrari styling. I also own some apparel from BMW and Mercedes, made by Puma as well but I always prefer the apparel for Ferrari. Having said that, the Ferrari branding is not as notorious/obvious as you may think. It's not easy to read the text on the tachymeter and the Cavallino Rampante is small and well proportioned. So for me having a Ferrari watch like this is perfectly fine. There are other Ferrari watches (mostly Quartz) which are really awful and look quite cheap. But not this one at all. Initially, it's really a mistery who's the actual manufacturer of the watch, and there are some opinions proposing Movado. Now I can confirm this with the following links: Official documentation from Movado on page 13: https://www.movado.com/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-MovadoUS-Library/default/dw9262c1b9/content-assets/manuals/pdfs/ferrari/Ferrari_EN.pdf Finally here you've got the licensing agreement here https://www.movadogroup.com/brands/scuderia-ferrari.cfm Anyway, the quality is really high, remember my comparison with the Grand Carrera. Regarding the time keeping accuracy, it's fine for me. I don't really synchronize the seconds hand with a reference timing because anyway the watch is going to gain/lose seconds every day, even if this one were a chronometer, which it's not. So I don't really mind careful syncing the hour. However, when I double check the time (both on the watch and the cell phone) both seem to have the same time. So good accuracy for me. I can't comment on the strap because first thing I did was to change it for a beautiful rubber strap: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079Y3K338/ which I chose in black and red. That's a gorgeous strap and really makes a great combination with the watch: it doesn't cheapen the watch and now the watch looks even more refined and sporty. The only thing I'm missing on this strap is the silver buckle, which should be black. Luckily I got another black buckle so now I've got the perfect strap. So in conclusion, this is a gorgeous watch and totally a steal for the price of this drop. If the drop goes live again, don't hesitate and get it!
