The flagship model in Final Audio Design’s series of balanced-armature IEMs, the FI-BA-SS delivers solid construction, superior comfort, and extremely high fidelity. Custom-made in Japan, the single wide-band balanced-armature driver results in a natural, transparent sound and deeper bass without distortion or muddiness.
Build, Comfort & Sound
Crafted from blocks of stainless steel, each slim, rounded shell is tapered for a comfortable fit. Despite being vented, the monitor offers enough isolation for public transit commutes—thanks in large part to FAD’s leakage-reducing Balanced Air Movement technology. The rigid housing features the company logo on the top, and can be fitted with your choice of included silicone eartips for the perfect seal. Coated in elastic material to reduce touch noise, the 4.6-foot cable ends in an L-shaped plug.
