RalphRomano2What hint is that? I have messaged many times that we are selling these cards to the community at the lowest prices we can. We are pretty much breaking even here. Its not the retailers/etailers jacking up the price. Its not even the distributors/vendors here in the states that are jacking up the price. Its the Manufacturers oversees who are doing it for reasons that have already been discussed over and over.
Trust me when I tell you that I will always bring the best possible deals to the community that I can. There is more information on this subject here...

Tex-ArozziThen we agree to disagree. Stop pretending I don't know the business. I have been in this field for over 30 years. I got sick, and had to close my business. By Christmas, I will reopen. You could and should sell these at 540 MAX. If you did you would make a ton of money on these. You don't have the overhead of a business location, locked into a specific location. You can and should sell them cheaper. Again, we agree to disagree.
11 purchased... How is the price ever gonna go down if we keep buying them at inflated, low supply prices? $615 is still very high for this card. At launch this would have been fine, but as long as these have been around now, new stuff should be around the corner and MSRP is down $100. Not worth this much at all.
If you where selling the TI version for this price, maybe.
Official MSRP of a TI is around 700-800.
And a regular 1080 is NOT even worth no where near 1000$(maybe for a price gouger),
so 615$ is still not worth it on this card. As It is no more than 580$ at most.....
So, I will skip on this one.
If this sold for 530 ish or less, it would sell off the shelves. At this price, nobody will care. Tired of people trashing other places to purchase this card, like MD is doing someone a favor here. The sole purpose behind massdrop is to do JUST THAT, sell it much cheaper than other reliable places. This falls VERY SHORT to everyone expectations. I need at least 4-6 cards for my rig, but I'll wait. I will NEVER EVER feed insanity pricing like this. As bitcoin drops in price, these will slowly drop too.
ja1p9a9n1For me as a garman guy this is super good. I get this card in Germany for around 670 Euros. when i buy it with this drop ill get it for around 510 Euros. So for me its a very good deal!
at the time of writing this, Nvidia has founders editions in stock for $549. The Gigabyte card has a slightly higher clock speed though. Maybe because the dual fan cooler is better?
Ah, the sweet sensation of grabbing a 1080 for only $330. Thank god for warehouse deals.
I know, i'm the exception, not the rule. But those deals do exist, if you look for them.

If you scroll down on that page, you can see who was the first to buy, which would be me. I'll be honest tho, it was a bum deal. Apparently something was wrong with the stock that they had, so they refunded everyone who bought it in a matter of hours.
