Excellent quilting tool and I am glad I purchased a set. The grip its are well made and evenly distribute tension down their length which aids in fabric control. Rubber nubs sit on the under side of the grip its and do well in moving the fabric along. I prefer this tool for quilting over any gloves , rings or other quilting aids that I have tried before.

This is the best tool for FMQ since gripper gloves. Gloves are clumsy but these are quick to pick up and move to the next spot. They hug the quilt top and are easy to grip. They also double as a straight guide for a little ruler quilting and stitch in the ditch. Best ever.

These worked very well for quilts that were either spray basted or basted with safety pins since the Grip-Its could be used over the top of the pins. However, if I was using Pinmoors, I had to remove them to make room for the Grip-Its and that was inconvenient. Overall, though, I do recommend these for a quilter’s toolbox.

LouTInstead of Pinmoors I use compressible ear plugs poked into flower head pins. Rulers and such can be laid right over them, plus they don’t have the weight of Punmoors.

I used I for the first time this week, it works great! I,have always worn the quilting gloves and they also work fine, but it’s nice not to have to take them on and off when doing something else. I think they will be wonderful in the summer...no sweaty hands!

It pains me to write this average review because it seems everyone else loves them. I found them difficult and clumsy when FMQ. If there were some sort of strap to make lifting and moving them without stopping the machine possible I think it would be easier. I'll give them another try and if I find using them less clumsy, my review will be edited.

wrkrbe1Well, I gave them another try and liked them better! This FMQ pattern was less intense than the last and that helped, they gripped the fabric really well too!

wrkrbe1I think it would be easy to make bands from elastic to hold the Grip-its to your hands-2 for each one.

Love these! So great not to be taking gloves on and off! They grip the quilt well and make it so much easier to move it around. Great purchase!

I love them! I hated having to continually remove my gloves to rethread needles, etc. and they‘re a great size for ruler work.

I love these things. I haven't used them to quilt a full quilt yet, but I've been playing with some quilt sandwiches I made up specifically to learn the feel for these. They're great! I'm really happy I bought these.
