At once vintage and avante garde, the Heritor Ganzi is a true showstopper. The first thing you’ll notice about it is the unique case shape and lugs, which look as if the watch is suspended in mid-air Read More
I've had my Heritor Ganzi for a few weeks now and have worn it several times. I have gotten countless compliments on it and many on how unique it looks. The aged bronze with the white face and brown strap really make the watch highly noticeable on your wrist. I love the way the watch looks like someone took an old pocket watch and turned it into a wrist watch. I know it is not really anything fancy, but the normal Joe around the office doesn't know...and I'm not telling! I'll give it 5 stars.
Lovely watch, but sadly doesn't remain wound for more than 24 hours after being worn, sometimes quite a bit less. I have another watch that holds a wind for 48 hours after full wind, and this would be better if it held time longer than it does. Otherwise a great-looking watch! For EDC should be fine, but if you want to switch between this and another, you're going to need an automatic winding storage option.
At least drop refunded me, that is after nearly 5 weeks ,but in all fairness I do live in Australia. So I haven't got a gripe with Drop; but just a little disappointment as my next two watches also don't seem to be making any headway.
Looking very much like another two also lost in transit;shame both good deals.
I was just wondering is it just me ,or has other members had similar issues: maybe there is a shipping issue that can be addressed?
Regards
JAoneThat's not bad because I bet they are very busy with people asking '' Where's my WATCH ? '' , all mine arrived the last one a week ago so they were all within 6-10 weeks and yes it sux waiting , waiting , waiting ,, I must be a bugger for punishment as I have 4 more in transit , the last the ' Timex Waterbury ' arrived in Sydney on monday , so come on OZ post !!!
beanerds2That's good, it seems three weeks is the time for delivery to Oz. now; my Orient Kamasu Mako took exactly three weeks from the shipping date. I feel it is acceptable now from the U.S. But I did get my son an Earnshaw watch actually sent from UK. it took only 6 days, so I have ordered a Geckota from this sale(sold out ) in under 6 hours!!) hoping it takes only 6 days from UK. Funny the Earnshaw I purchased from Earnshaw for my son was actually the last one a week or so ago from Drop and it was actually about $60 aud or so cheaper on Drop!! So I think there are still some good deals on Drop. If you like something a little different there is still one odel Geckota watch available on sale, use code "geckota10" for an extra 10% discount making it only $240 aud. if you like it; good luck. I also checked out that Waterbury deal and the Drop price was easily $50 aud. or so the best; and quite a good little watch. Regards.
It's a great watch design , looks superb . I will check back in a few weeks as I have only had it on wrist for 1 hour but I do like the way it feels and looks ,, thanks .
beanerds2Oh well , as promised here is a few words on my time with the Ganzi .
5 months of rotational wearing for a week at a time and it's not missed a beat , its still keeping good time - 10 seconds a day which is more than good enough for what it costs , the leather strap has been dubbin'd a few times and has turned out to be very soft and supple and I am more than happy .
This watch as mentioned gets plenty of comments from friends and strangers alike , even non watch people can see it's different .
I have had one comment asking if its a ' Smart Watch ' ,, nah mate shes a genuine Automatic , fully mechanical and I really like it .
