An Android-based touchscreen digital audio player, the Hidizs AP200 delivers the high-end specs of its competitors at a lower price. It features dual 32-bit ES9118C DACs, each with a gold shield to eliminate interference from surrounding signals. The Cortex A9 1.4GHz processor gives the player enough juice to power Android 5.1, and you can stream music over Wi-Fi using apps like Tidal and Spotify on your phone. The AP200 also supports Bluetooth 4.0 and the Qualcomm aptX transmission protocol. This gives the player the ability to transmit and receive signals over Bluetooth, great for use in cars, with phones, or with wireless headphones. Finally, this version has 32 gigabytes of ROM, expandable to 256 gigabytes via the microSD slot.

Headfonics praises the AP200’s “excellent build quality” and “sleek, pocket-friendly design.” Of the sound, it says, “The AP200 has a relatively natural feel to pretty much the entire spectrum, with exception to the very top end. Bass, mids, and even up to the lower parts of the treble area seem very smooth, forgiving, and without much of an exaggeration at all on a flat EQ.”
