CountyComm has titanium products for storage. One of my favorite pocket case items from them is titanium and at a more palatable price point (for me anyways). https://countycomm.com/collections/view-all-storage-products/products/titanium-pocket-strong-box If you're in the Cont. US might be worth checking out their store. Ships quickly from Cali.

Pocketpuck? As in pocket-hockey puck? Hmm...I'd rather play pocket-pool and hang on to my $175 for something a little more useful.

At that price it should be made out of unobtanium.

I am surprised that nowhere is the diameter dimension given, not even on the HogDoggins website. That seems very odd to me, can someone fill in that pit of info please?

As an owner of the brass version of this, I can say the craftsmanship is absolutely flawless. Anyone who is a craftsman themselves can really appreciate the attention to detail. I bought the Brass version as it also has antimicrobial properties and was less money, but I thought it was worth the price after I had it in my hands. If I was after titanium, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this company again.

I don't understand the lashing that people are giving this product. If it's not for you, it's so easy just to move on to the products that interest you. If it doesn't garner enough interest, then the drop won't happen and most likely won't be offered again. I don't believe the site will fold because it offered a niche premium product though.

akoviaI agree that it is pricey, but your argument is almost spot on, "just move on to the products that interest you". The thing is, I think a number of us are interested in this design, with only the price getting in the way. I am glad you posted that you have a brass version, now I will check out the company and check them out. I do wish that this sale would have included versions made of other materials in addition to the titanium.

Titanium Kills a pretty wide range of micro organisms. I think the point of this is for medical storage like metformin pills for people with extra health issues....I'm probbaly gonna be one of the people buying this in a few more years sadly.

DarkvladeSorry, but I do need to correct you on your first statement. Titanium metal is not antimicrobial. Titanium DIOXIDE, TiO2, is. This is not made from titanium dioxide (it couldn't be, it would crumble) nor is it anodized in TiO2, which I'm not aware of as being possible (type 2 adds hardness, used in medicine because it's biologically inert) and type 3 adds color. Neither changes the oxide layer into TiO2. The titanium you're familiar with is at best, biologically inert. If you need antimicrobial metals, you want copper (best), bronze/brass (whichever is made from an alloy utilizing more copper) or sterling silver (same overall level of antimicrobial effect, but takes 2-4 times as long to self-sanitize) -I'm a paramedic and biochemistry student. *edit* it'd also be pretty poopy as a pill container, too. I take daily meds, and they still kinda powderize themselves just jostling and rubbing on each other in their little plastic case - this thing has all sorts of nasty edges inside it that pills would just turn to dust on. I was thinking about a brass one just for the fun factor, but once I thought about it for a few minutes, I honestly don't know what this case would be useful for.

HoneybadgersThe best example of metals that are biologically inert are the metals (not to mention plastic and ceramic) used in joint replacement (like knees and hips).

So, $175 for a grinder without the grindy parts? Lol... Gib us some more good sales for headphones n keyboards please not inventory dumps for poorly designed and crass products such as this. Drop plsssss ive been so good to you yet this is beginning to feel like my previous relationship. Take care of your people instead of trying to sell stuff like this and you guys could seriously start a new era of loyal customers who are capable of supporting you 10x more than now, granted if you are willing to listen and keep the ones you have already gained the trust of. You already have such a niche and extremely profitable scenario to play to your advantage, i would hate to see you guys fall because of poorly planned and/or executed sales approaches' due to lack of communaction with the buyers of your products. Sincerely - A caring, and loyal customer. If any of you big wigs read this too gimme a sale on the pc38x because i missed black friday and im giving my pc37x away too my little bro for christmas okkkkkkaaaaayyyyyyyy thanksssssssssss :)
