Born on Kickstarter and inspired by the walk-everywhere culture of New York City, Honey Soles allow you to comfortably wear your shoes with or without socks. That’s because they’re made of sustainably harvested natural cork: a naturally antibacterial, moisture-wicking material that breathes well, helps prevent odor, and molds to the shape of your foot over time Read More
I put these in a pair of Laceless slip on shoes that I wear pretty often. They keep my feet dry and give me support in shoes where there is barely any in stock standard. As I have very flat arches, this helps me a lot. They feel great when walking, and have eliminated any foot pain from flat feet in flat shoes. Recommended.
I've had these in a pair of Scarpa Margarita shoes for about 8 months, which were my primary shoes during winter. They came with pretty shoddy insoles so that's why I got the Honey Soles. They felt great all the way through the season, walking up and down the hills in Seattle.
Mine are super worn out now. I think i had them for about 2 years. Without socks, they are AMAZING! But you have to clean that gunk that builds up on the sole every week or 2. With socks they feel good too. I highly recommend for flat feet. After a year though, you do need to get new ones.
Wore them comfortably in my leather slip ons for a week, then they became sticky and uncomfortable feeling. Pretty much the same story with any insole I try with this type of shoe. Tiny, no-show socks are still the best strat for not stinkin 'em up, but they're a hassle keeping up with em. Oh well. Sweaty feet it shall be...
just from feeling it you would think it would be bad (there are a couple of hard layers) but it doesn't seem any worse than a mid tier foam insert (short term comfort wise haven't tested long term) as long as these last a while I will be happy with them
Using these for my work shoes for the summer months, where normal inlays succumb to heat (30-36 celcius) and the shoes become unwearable after half a day.
