I want to have an excuse to get one but am struggling. Help me out here community ...
I use ergo keyboards (graduated from Kinesis to TECK), but still have a few small regular keyboards for other uses, so no great pull there.
The case is unremarkable, unlike the TEX Yoda which is a work of art (not dinging Inifinity which made this choice on purpose for BOM costs, just noting).
The 'infinite' configurability is intriguing, but unless I'm not seeing the possibilities I don't have any ideas here. The TECK has six layers which is plenty for me at least, I had trouble finding uses for all of those. I wouldn't mind using this not as a traditional keyboard but a matrix hotkey board, for example, but it's firmly a 60% layout. For compatibility with all the different computers I use during the day I need to learn shortcuts so having them built into the keyboard doesn't do much. Unless I programmed it with all of my shortcuts, but that's just obfuscating the issue as I still need a shortcut to get to them.
Any ideas here?
