I use this with my Lenovo Yoga and it matches very well. Having the laptop raised helps with ergonomics a bit with having the screen up higher and I am the type of person that raises my desktop keyboard. It is also small enough to just throw in my bag and have it wherever I go.

These things have been great, glad I got in on this drop. The way they store away is very nice t0o, notch them together and throw them in your laptop bag, and you're good to go.

elimelendezUm, cool... But how are they shipped? No info is provided on the transactions page, it simply says "Status: Shipped" without stating the carrier.
UPDATE: Ok, the transactions page and notification system (both on-site and email) got updated. Nice.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Just Mobile Lazy Couch and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 4/3.

Wonder if this will actually work - the rubber tops has me skeptical, as with something like a Macbook Pro/Air I get the impression it wouldn't be grippy enough to really do much good. Hopefully I'm wrong, because otherwise these look great and very convenient compared to the alternatives.

ArcendusI have the feeling that the rubber would be sufficient to hold the macbook/keep it from sliding, especially since there isn't a significant amount of force pushing your laptop around horizontally (assuming you're typing normally at a table).
The only reason I believe this is because I've gone the cheap route years ago (10 cent, really bad, less rubbery eraser cut in half) and the laptops I've used that with never really slipped unless I pushed really hard for some reason. Softer erasers tended to work better.

Hi massdrop, I'm trying to purchase 2, but why is the shipping for 2 jumping up to $7.71? Shouldn't shipping stay the same (taken from past massdrop QTY 2 purchase experience)? Is this a possible glitch?

Have been using Just Mobile Aluminum Cooling Bar and while it's expensive (paid around $35 via Amazon) but beautifully made, it works beautifully with my MBP especially if I work long hours on my laptop. I'm getting this as a lighter-weight option whenever I have to lug my laptop around all day.
Just Mobile designed some pretty functional, beautifully made and interesting gadgets so this drop represents an opportunity to get these at a more reasonable price. Now how about starting a drop on the Alupad?

Was thinking of 2 of these, but one will do - interesting that shipping is more than twice as expensive for 2 items - and tax shows as 9.7% on my purchase - I know of no county in California that charges that high a rate - and shipping isn't supposed to be taxable. Would like to hear back on these two points.

Thats because if a seller does not have a physical presence in a state they dont have to charge sales tax when selling to that state, although the person is still supposed to report the transaction and pay the tax (few do...).

The statement that if you live in California and buy something from amazon that the sales tax is a always 10% is flat out wrong. I live in CA and everything I buy from AMZ that is taxable is taxed at 8%. Additionally, regarding massdrop they have their warehouse in NJ but headquarters in CA. So if you live in CA you get shafted having to pay tax and wait the 7 days for crap UPS ground to ship to you.
