In fairness to MD, since I posted my bad news, here's the good news - support already got back to me and will be sending a replacement board w/RGB modifiers once they arrive late Sept. They also will be sending a pre-paid shipping label to return the defective board and offered a $10 MD credit to make up for the inconvenience. That's about all I could hope for, so kudos to MD support for making things right :)

MythicalWagyuMassdrop has also contacted me about replacement keyboards. I am very appreciative that they are taking responsibility and showing a good level of customer service.
I will continue to update, but as of now I can only say for certain that I had 1 weak switch, and it may not be fair to knock massdrop or kbc for that.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt - dont be discouraged from buying this because of a couple weak switches
I ordered a couple new clear switches to potentially solder a new one on myself, but perhaps that wont be necessary and I will just have those as extra.

CocoThepugIm glad they are being so nice about it. Lol I was impatient and just repaired mine, more than likely voiding the warranty. Works like a charm though
