Kershaw and Emerson, two popular knife designers and leading names, have collaborated to release a series of budget-friendly blades. Emerson and Kershaw’s collaboration features a series of manual opening blades based on Emerson’s Wave Shaped feature. The mechanic catches on the back of a pocket and easily deploys the blade. The CQC-3K is a compact, mechanical tanto for slicing and punching.

Design and Function
Built out of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, then coated in black-oxide for a textured finish, the CQC-3K is a tanto blade measuring under 3”. The handle, made out of Textured G-10, is comfortable and easy to grip. Just like with other CQC’s, it can be manually opened using the pocket Wave Shaped Feature.
