I'm a Fountain-pen-aholic. This pen writes as well as my Mont Blancs. It's quite often my EveryDayCarry pen. I love people's reaction when they see me using a fountain pen. They admire the looks of it, too.

So far, so good. Only been using it for a couple of days, though. The nib was supposed to be <M>, even says it on the nib, but this is the wettest, broadest <M> I have ever used. Writes like a broad nib. I have been running Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue through it and not getting any of the "scratch" that others have mentioned. Really, very smooth.
It's a pretty heavy pen. I really like the smoky grey trim and the black nib. It looks a lot more expensive than it was.

Definitely one of my favorite pens. Something about this particular nib just nails it for me. Perfect amount of scratch for my taste. Not seeing the problem others are stating with the paint or finish flaking. Carbon fiber looks sharp and the black nib adds to the overall 'dark' look of the pen, which I like.
Only thing I notice all the time is the weight, and especially with the cap posted, it feels slightly unsure in your hand unless you grip it just right.

Really great everyday writer. I really like the solid, weighty feel. (Kind of funny in a pen made to look like ultra-light carbon fiber. But it is a very well-balanced pen.) The only issue I’ve had is that the converter sometimes tends to ooze a bit right where it connects to the nib, so need to be careful about leaks.

It is a very nice pen!! The barrel finish in carbon fiber looks amazing. The finish trims really match up withe te carbon fiber theme. Grip section to me is good, but you might feel the threads a little bit. The nib I got was a medium black nib that wrote good. Not a very hard nib like the Lamy's steel nibs.
I found two problems IMO. The first one is the weight of the pen. Carbon fiber should be light. But this is not. Try a Tombow 101 fountain pen for a carbon fiber light feel.
Second proble is the nib coating. For me it was more like a black paint. After 3 months od using it it began to peel apart. I haven't had this problem with my Lamy Charcoal and my ruthenium color montegrappa nib.

Incompetent Assembly
I purchased 2 fountain pens. One pen came with the proper body to fit the ink converter cartridge that came with the pen; the other pen came with an incorrect body that did not fit the exact same ink converter cartridge. Measuring the interior depth of the body, it appears that one pen got assembled with a fountain pen body and the other with a rollerball body. Disappointing.

Wonderful Pen
The carbon fiber is nice finish for a pen, and weight makes this feel very solid. The supplied ink cartridge can immediately go in the garbage though.

The carbon part is great, but it is not carefully finished as I expected. Some parts in both the body and the cap remain rugged, not clean.
