Let me caveat this that my DAC is a Topping D70 so by no means a bad DAC to begin with...
Just wow the improvement in sound is impressive. I have this set up on the ISS input on my DAC and simultaneously have the USB input set up on the DAC as well so I can switch input methods to compare.
The sound stage is noticeably larger and instrument/voice separation has improved. Lows seem to hit harder and faster. There wasn't much or any noise to begin with so I can't notice any improvement there. I know you're thinking it's a placebo effect but since I can compare the two inputs side by side almost instantaneously with the simple switch of a drop-"up" list in my taskbar, I can say concretely there is a difference.
I can only give it 4 stars though because of the pricing/value. I can't imagine why it needs to be so expensive. While it might improve your listening experience by a certain percentage I don't know if the ROI is there for most people. It's like upgrading from a 9 to a 9.5.
