I got the coyote on the last drop really high quality leather for this kind of price. This might sound weird but the smell of this new leather wallet is quite pleasant.
That is really reassured, I though I did something out of the ordinary when my wife asked me if something is wrong with me. All I did was just sniffing at it because I think that leather smell quite nice 😁
Collect this from post office this morning. The leather is thick yet very soft and nice to touch. The smell is good too.
Fit just nice for RM 1, 10 and 20 banknote. Photo taken with 3 cards and 5 notes.
Hi
This looks great
One question, does the strap hold the cash in securely and how many bills can it hold?
I’m worried that my cash will fall out.
Thanks
KCFM1Hi thanks for the question. The strap does hold the cash secure. We tested one for about a year before releasing. I've not maxed out the bill capacity. But, if this drop does well, I'll have enough cash for a legit test. Kidding.. Here is a pic with 13 bills and 5 cards. Could definitely fit more cards in there. That's just what I carry.
I just joined for one of these in Spruce. Have been using a Ridge wallet for the past few years and am now completely addicted to slim/front pocket carry, but I'm in pursuit of something that's even slimmer (or at least softer) than the Ridge. So glad this drop appeared because I was on the verge of trying a $15 front pocket minimalist leather slim wallets from Amazon which I'm sure is made in China and looks way inferior to this unit in terms of quality/construction. The other option was a Saddleback which looks to be similar in quality to the LM, but priced 3-4x higher depending on the model one compares it to. The 100 year warranty of the Saddleback sure is nice though, and leaves one feeling as if it'd be the last wallet you'd ever have to buy. I checked the LM website and apparently, these have a lifetime warranty as well. So I'm giving it a shot to see if it'll work for me. Happy to support an American company offering a quality product at an extremely reasonable price!
LateralusSo I noticed that this drop was open again and thought I'd give an update on the Thompson after using it for a couple of months. I LOVE THIS WALLET. I'm currently carrying 8 cards and it is sooo comfy. It's exactly what I wanted. Can't believe I carried thick bi-fold and tri-fold wallets in my back pocket for so long. I didn't know what I was missing. The Ridge was an improvement from that, but it always felt like a hard chunk of plastic or metal in my pocket. Primarily because it's a hard chunk of plastic or metal in your pocket. I broke the LM wallet in with 9 cards initially, but decided that I could do without one of those and went down to 8. No issues with the cards falling out and now that it's broken in, they are easier to insert and remove (as one would expect).
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, or to recommend them to others. Great job, LM! Here are some pics of mine.
Description lists black as an option. No black option among the choices when you click Join Drop.
Classic MD copy and paste. Has anyone literally ever seen an accurate description of a drop? Smh....
DoYouHaveTheTimeThis iteration of the drop was not going to have Black as an option (no quantities available), but Tyler from LM was able to pull his magic for our community and we're making the black option available this time around as well.
Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. Hope that with 4 days left you still have the time to join.
DominickLeeIt is brand new so there won't be any specific reviews for it. But take a look at our other drops and I think you can see that all our goods are very well made. I would say this is probably the best $15 wallet you can get 👍
Thanks,

DominickLeeI have one of their bags. The leather is great and it looks awesome. I never use the bag though. Just not practical for me at this time.
Will these be available in black or brown ball-glove leather, similar to the wonderful LM Products Morrison Journal? I bought several of those and love the leather.
GraydogHey thanks Graydog. The black available here is our black ballglove, same as your journal. I like the option of the brown as well in the future. I'll work with the great crew at MassDrop to see if we can make that happen.
Thanks,
Tyler

LMproductsOK I am joining the drop for a black Thompson wallet, as I really like your black ball-glove leather... and will add a brown ball-glove leather version when available. I really love your leather products, and others won’t be disappointed!
Love this wallet
Super quality and the smell of the leather is fantastic
I will be buying more LM leather products in the future
You can’t go wrong on buying quality
I’m in on a coyote variant. I already own something very similar to this, but made out of Horween. This will be the perfect compliment.
Tyler’s company makes great top quality leather goods. I own the Drayton, Cascadian, and valet tray & coasters. Very happy with all of them, especially the Cascadian’s versatility. The leather on that one is beautiful.
YaqAlpHey just wanted to update you in case you are interested - the Spruce Thompson is now available and the same leather as your Cascadian. Thanks again!
