I have used the loksok order-proof sacks for years backpacking. I wouldn’t go backpacking without them. The only reoccurring fault is that eventually the seal wears out. No problem-just fold the flap over. I have used a bag numerous times, washing the bag after use(hand wash) and they still appear to be odor proof.

The only way to keep small animals and bears away from you food stash even if you hang it is to line your canister or your Ur Sack with these. Ive never had an issue and they last a couple seasons.

These have become essential. Whether you're trying to smuggle weed past the drug-sniffing dogs at the border, salami past the bears in King's Canyon or packing out your used TP (like you should).
They are durable enough and some have lasted me season to season, but I'd like to see them a bit tougher particularly the sealing mechanism.

Go-to for camping
These bags are amazing for keeping odor contained. I have found them perfect for deterring animals from approaching, as well as carrying out human waste in fragile eco systems. I would advise getting larger bags than you think you need to avoid straining the seams. No complaints whatsoever, and heavy enough they can be used many times.

The opening needs to be much tougher. The plastic above the zip lock rips far too easily which limits the life of this not inexpensive product.

Used during two hiking/camping trips since purchase as an odorless food-bag within a zpacks food-bag. So far, so good! Sturdy without being too heavy and kept some seriously stinky tuna stink under control. When I opened the bag...whew! But I couldn't smell it when sealed, and that's the idea.
Giving it 4 stars because I think the seal lock could be more durable and also the price point seems sort of steep.

These are really nice bags. The two sizes included are great for food and snack sacks. Seals well and after a few good scratches, still no leaks. Only one star off because my perfect bags would be a bit more mailable. These make their contents a bit bulky, since they don’t fold or squish very well.
I also try to be careful not to touch the outside of the bags with anything that could leave an odor.

I have used a smaller version on a recent hike, and it worked well as my food bag.
The largest LokSak from this order will probably be my food bag for future, longer hikes. I wouldn't say I have to use a LokSak to protect food during hikes, but now that I have it, it will come in handy for sure.

Not durable
I brought this to put inside my food bag on a Colorado Trail thru hike. The ziplock style closure didn’t work very well after a few days and it finally ripped and was unuseable. .

Bought these to use with my food bag. The 12x20s are great for that. Would have preferred a 4 pack of the 12x20s, considering ppl have commented about durability issues.
