I don't know anything about these headphones... how would they compare to Grado SR80???
I was about the hit the 'purchase' button on Amazon for the Grado but then I saw this advertising...

ericlerougeThe Grado SR80 is on-ear, circular, and open-back (sound escapes from headphones) while the 99 Noir is over-the-ear, oval, and closed-back (minimal to no sound escaping). The Grado's will hurt your ears in a few hours or less while the 99 Noir is easy all-day listening. So, to quickly crap all over the Grado's before even getting to the frequency, impedance, sound stage, and imaging, just buy the 99 Noir instead.
