Ordered again once they came up.
A pair of my favorite workout, general use ear buds.
Battery is solid. I bought a backup pair of these in case of loss or damaged. They just work.
I've used just one time to test.
After that, I've tried 3 times, and paring is not easy, and the battery just runs out each time.
I couldn't be able to paired them again, and every time, it turned off itself.
I'm returning them.
These Strides are not the very average in sound quality.
They have very average battery life.
Yet, I have ended up buying 2 of them and would be happy to stock more.
Strides are interesting. The sound is not boring. Pair them with memory foam tips and they give very nice isolation for outdoor use. They even sound little better with the foam tips. Sound is decent. Very poor sound stage but engaging. May not be a good fit for peaceful tracks. Good for calls or training materials.
Battery is ok. does a good job for few months. Then dies down a little. But it's ok.
Charges very quickly.
The magnet backs are very useful to keep them on the neck. Seems like highly durable. nothing happened on multiple drops. Not fragile also. Wire is tangle fee and durable. the buds are ab bit heavy and tends to loosen out if not using memory foams.
They are often available on high discounts. And for a daily call or rough usage purpose earphones, they can be an excellent pair to keep. If you are looking for a generic durable reliable solution to calls / lectures along with decent audio quality, keep a pair with you. Do use the memory foams.
It's the Jack of low cost basic bluetooth earphones.
I really like the sound. It is pretty neutral. No harsh highs or exaggerated lows, but it is definitely a full range IEM. If you play a bass heavy recording, you will hear all of the bass. But these will not add extra bass. I think one would be hard pressed to find this kind of accurate, detailed sound quality elsewhere for $30. Bluetooth connection is solid as well. Battery life is on the short side. It's not terrible, but I only get 4-5 hours of use between charges. It's not a deal breaker for me.
Overall, they are a good pair of IEMs but I couldn't love them. I use them as a backup pair of IEMs (among the many I own). In the end, they get the job done.
This is a great IEM that I use basically everyday. I have had no issues. It didnt seem bass heavy like other users say, but then again it might be personal preference.
