for folks who have these: how is the latency (when watching video), and do you experience any BT disconnects / audio drops? thanks in advance. :)

Do not, I repeat, do not purchase these earbuds! Reasons why:
  • The super cool hi gloss metal case becomes super scratched up like literally two days after you start using them.
  • There is no app. So, no adjustments, no EQ, no nothin!
  • The on board microphone for calls is about as good as the crappiest microphone you used to be able to purchase at radio shack.
  • There is no on/off button, which if you receive a phone call, the only way to take the call using your phone to talk on is to as fast as possible get the earbuds out of your ears and into the case and shut it, Otherwise the earbuds will bounce back from your phone to them constantly during your call unless you turn off Bluetooth which no one should have to do.
  • Bluetooth is not reliable. I s say this again. The Bluetooth is not reliable.
Now, do they sound good? Yes they do! They sound better than AirPods and the Galaxies by a solid chunk. They sound better than the Jabbras and the Jaybirds by less of a chunk but still better. In my humble and confident opinion after having purchased and trying pretty much all of the current true wireless earbuds on the market, (Which took a super long time to do) the best sounding earbuds that actually sound a big bit better than the Master & Dynamic’s are the Sennheisr Momentum’s! Why:
  • They sound super great! Better than any of the current true wireless earbuds on the market. (Haven’t tried the newest Sony’s yet)
  • They have an app. It has two things. An EQ adjustment, and hear through on off.
  • They seal great in your ears.
  • The Bluetooth connectivity is super solid. I guess there was a time when it wasn’t but there was a firmware update and now they connect before you even get the first bud in your ear.
  • The phone mic is totally doable and everyone can understand you without sounding like you’re in an underground bunker.
  • The controls on the earbuds are totally functional and easy to use. including volume up/down on the earbuds.
  • It has the most natural sounding “hear through” out of any of the other earbuds that currently have it. Very pleased about this. No tinty white noise trashy hear through sound.
A couple things that could be better but aren’t at all a problem:
  • A bit longer battery life would be nice but it’s never been an issue at all for me.
  • A ”graphic” EQ would be nice but the truth is, even with the EQ the app currently has, because the Momentum’s sound great already, I haven’t had to use the EQ in the app at all.
  • The case is a cool tweed like material which can get dirty. So when I purchased them, I taped the back of the case and then sprayed the case with a boot waterproof spray a couple of times. If it gets something on it now, I can easily just damp wipe it right off!
Finally- Sound is really important to me, so is functionality. Adjusting the EQ on the the cheaper earbuds never really helped because the components of the earbuds could never really handle any meaningful EQ adjustments. So after much testing and lots of listening, I say currently right now, the Sennheiser Momentum’s are the solid choice. Word 👍🏼

there is a samsung galaxy buds review in head-fi comparing them to kanas pro, apparently it has good balanced tuning and sounds pretty good on any android device and better on samsung galaxy phone ..but not so much on iphone.

I wonder how many people bought these thinking they were the mwo7 PLUS... the one that doesn't suck.

Having used these in the past - the only things that made me return them were the price tag and battery life. The comfort, style, and the sound are all exceptional. Additionally, the convenience of physical buttons in the winter months when using gloves is outstanding. I vastly prefer interacting with these compared to any other true wireless IEM, or even the devices they were connected to. $200 is a very tempting price point for these, even with the low battery life.

Could we maybe get a deal on the MW07 Plus, it seems that fix pretty much all the problems of the MW07.

Nice that it's USB C charging as well as APTX, too bad it's not Bluetooth 5.0. These are very tempting just for those two things though, as it's very rare to find both in a set of true wireless. $50 cheaper than the sale price at Amazon so for once an actual deal.

iPhone owners beware, these don’t support the AAC codec so you’re limited to SBC. I wish I knew this before buying my pair.
