The Matrix X-SPDIF is an advanced USB to SPDIF converter that uses the X-Core 32bit/500MIPS microprocessor from XMOS. Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux, the device supports asynchronous USB playback up to 24bit/192kHz as well as low latency ASIO/KS drivers.

At check-out, you will have the option to choose between the black and silver models of the Matrix X-SPDIF.

Build and Technology

CNC machined from solid aluminum, the unit protects itself against interference. The design incorporates digital coaxial and AES/EBU outputs that are galvanic isolated from the computers USB ground in order to prevent ground loops. An ultra low jitter dual-frequency clock with two very high quality crystal oscillator components make multiples of sampling rates automatically reproduced.
