I'm shocked! My watch was confiscated by Customs in Switzerland!
They write that it contains an alligator strap and the original certificate of the conservation of provenance species is missing. In that situation, I would greatly appreciate any advice.
How do i contact the vendor?

Isn’t it a little unusual for the manufacturer’s warranty to only be one year? Isn’t 2 years fairly standard?

Visited THE MONTBLANC brand store in Geneva today looked for this watch. Just to let you know that they do not sale or hold in stock this Heritage model. The show my the current heritage collection e.g 119947. Does anyone know from what year this model are?

I just want to point out, for those considering the Montblanc Heritage at $1,199, that alternatively, you could actually buy seventeen CCCP Golden Soviet Submarine watches instead--and still have enough left over for a Whopper Jr. and a diet-coke!

The movement in this is better than a standard SW200-1 watch and the same price as those from competing brands. The non stock photos show how great this watch looks. Brand recognition? Who cares. This isn't Omega or Rolex for a reason... It's affordable and looks great. Good enough for me.

After in depth research this does appear to be a great deal. This is the only watch on Watchbase with this movement, so I consider it to be unique enough with the extra complication to warrant the price. Design wise, I like it with the metal band and I think having a metal band is preferred because I can always change to a leather strap and will be less expensive to do so rather than upgrading to the metal band later.
Fairly simple face but to me this will be used as a dressier watch and I think it will go with just about anything. This is the only type of watch that was missing from my collection (currently own Oris Divers 65 SW200-1, Hamilton Khaki Auto x-Wind Vaijoux 7750).
Glad I didn't have to spend a fortune!

REBAIt's a sad commentary on the world of trade and economics today, when a Swiss guy has to turn to a US website for a deal on a Swiss watch, only to have to factor in the added cost of getting it back into the country it was made in--not to mention the added burden on the environment to have shipped it half-way around the world and back again.
I think all the Swiss watch manufacturers should offer everyone in Switzerland an employee discount--it's good for the Swiss, and good for the planet!
