Doesn't look good at all. I am actually looking for a theremin and this drop would have been perfect timing but this theremin is uglier than the $150-$200 kits out there you can buy and has the same features (and some lacking features). If there was some decent looking finishes Id consider this at $250.

Hello. Can you tell me, is the wood case that comes with the kit unfinished? What kind of wood is it?
The one that's offered on Amazon comes with a pre-stained ash case. Is this one ash, too?
