The Moondrop VX Classic earbuds have very good definition in the highs and the mids are audible and clear but the base is almost nonexistent, resulting in an uncomfortable listening experience after a few minutes. Definitely not worth $50. The Monk + runs circles around the Moondrop VX Classic, although the sound is muddied in comparison to the VX Classic. For about the same price on sale on Amazon, the Azio HRA-HEARA C-01 (although IEMs and not earbuds) are much, much better.
