I mean it should work but I wouldn't go about recommending that people buy 4GB cards and flash 8GB BIOS on them... it will run fine but as soon as they break the 4GB mark their cards will crash. IMO, would not recommend banking on getting an 8GB VRAM card out of a 4GB purchase. It's even documented in the description, it probably will not work with every card.
My morals is all i have :'c... xD
I believe in my morals and principles. yes.
Just like being a vegetarian while the whole world eats meat - I don't care tho , its not my problem , tho I will voice my opinion and make sure to show why it is superior (to my opinion) in the case.
I love how you're praising them so much even tho they won't give you anything for wasting your time convincing people who aren't going to be convinced.
Yet again... superior EVGA card (SC ATX3.0) available on the 'egg at $530 w/rebate.
I'll repeat myself: I really do appreciate the effort and attempt by Massdrop to get a good deal on these cards with all of the crypto trashing the market at the expense of gamers. I know it's tough out there. However, I am of the opinion that Massdrop is far better off at this point just concentrating on 1060 6gb / 580 8gb cards that they can honestly get at a true great deal.
To be specific, not an "ok" deal that we can duplicate from reliable vendors that have (typically) better service and return policies, but a GREAT deal that makes me willing to forgo those easy return policies if there is a problem. I'm not sure that all of this is worth the $5 savings for a lesser card.
Just sayin'.
edcoolioBut then again the amount needed is 5 cards ! I mean of course if you ask a manufacturer/vendor what kind of rebate he can offer you in exchange for buying a whooping 5 cards (I mean really, how can you hope to be taken seriously with that kind of offer) then he'll just give you the basic ~5% rebate that he would offer pretty much anyone who tries to negociate a rebate.
sixelannifThis is the best discussion of price I've ever seen in the video card drops. You have both restored some of my faith in humanity by presenting valid criticisms while offering suggestions/customer insight to Massdrop. Hat's off to you both!
Howdy Everyone,

Tex-Arozzii joined this order but on later notice realized that it would be better to wait for you guys to get a discount on the 1080ti is there a way to cancel order?
Someone has used my account to purchase two of these. I did not join this drop. Please do not ship these and do NOT charge my credit card. Thank you. I could not find a phone number to call and stop this charge. Also, they didn't use the same credit card I usually use and I don't live in California. Please take care of this right away.
GloriaDJust call your bank/CC company and tell them what's going on. They may freeze your account for a couple days but once they see what's going on you will either not be charged or given your money back.
GloriaDSomeone hacked your account. If you use the same mail/password on other sites, you'll probably have charges there too. Change ALL your passwords and check for unwanted orders too.
Maybe you left this site open somewhere and someone thought to try their luck. Whatever it is, you need to review all your accounts to make sure you are secure.
