Guys, Gals, this microphone is spec'ed out above. It is bundled with a cable and mount, and is designed for use with Voice Overs, Podcasting, etc.. specs are above. It is a good value mic for the price that they are selling it. it most resembles the Tempo microphone found on the MXL website.

These are cheap mics. Don't waste your money. Seems ridiculous to me that this is offered in the Audiophile community. No audiophile or recording engineer would use it or want to hear a recording made with this crap.

SenyahSoundSenyah. The intended use of this microphone is Voice Over, Podcast, broadcast etc. Yes there are higher priced mics for studio recording, that is not what this is intended for. Nice little bundle at 99 dollars if 5 people get in on the drop..

scurto1I stand behind my original comments. I'd suggest you save your money and purchase any number of better options out there: Shure SM7, Electro-voice RE-20, Heil PR 40, etc. if we are talking podcast/broadcast options. Audio-Technica and Rode offer various options, as well. I have nothing to gain from my comments.

I am equally confused by what this is exactly. All I can find is a reference to a bundle that came out in 2013 that included this mic alongside other components of other manufacturers. Almost like this mic was never offered separately. Doesn't even pop up on ebay where one would normally find discontinued equipment.

Obviously a normal consumer will be better off with a usb mic like Blue Yeti etc., as this requires a phantom power supply and audio interface. But will a pro with such equipment in need for a mic wait 1+ month for a little saving on a cheapo mic like this?
