nthefaceI'd say don't buy any of these. There are a lot better options that have better usability and much higher quality. Personally, I daily the HELM Audio TWS earbuds that have AptX and AAC support, Bluetooth 5.0 and great battery whilst being easy to use and comfortable.
A lot of this is down to personal preference but judging by reviews of these, I'd say that they're a no-go.
I've never not gotten a notification concerning delay of a product on here, so that's somewhat concerning. Can you guys let us know what's up? Even just acknowledging the delay would be cool.
Edit: 7/9 They've shipped it out, it's happening!
I have to admit, drop's lack of communication on the shipping delay has made me consider requesting a refund. We should be getting updates more than once a month. If I don't hear any good news by the 9th, I'm going to request a refund. I really wanted to get my hands on the R10s they seem like a much better option than a current bluetooth earbuds I have. Drop don't let me down!
So today is the 8th, the estimated ship date. As you might expect there are some delays but I haven't heard from drop about an update. Does anybody know what the new expected ship date is?
I know people are skeptical about the codec and I am too. I ordered the R10s. I will let you know how they sound when I get them. I'm not expecting much for $200 but here's to hope!
I suspect they will sound more than four times better than my $50 truly wireless earbuds and that is a win in my opinion.
I sent an email to drop asking for this information but so far crickets. Looks very promising though but without codec information, I’m going to have to pass on this .
I have to agree that it seems odd that much of the technical information like codecs is missing. Has anyone else found information elsewhere on the net?
