I have both the Leatherman Sidekick and Wingman multi-tools and I think this thing might be better than both of them!
search
I admit comparing the Flagship Pro to the Sidekick (and nearly identical Wingman) may not be a totally fair comparison--the Flagship Pro is a considerably larger and heavier tool. With that increase in size, you get a tool that fits your hand a little better and accessory tools that are also a little bigger. I'm not a big multi-tool user, but when you need one they're handy to have around. I'm seldom without one of the smaller Leatherman tools--one is clipped to my bug-out bag/man-purse, and the other is kept handy in a vehicle. Because of the Flagship Pro's size and weight, I'll probably keep it near my desk at home (rather than carrying it), but I reserve the right to change my mind about that in the future!

Quality tool at a great price
Just got mine a couple days ago... way sooner than the expected delivery specified in the drop. This tool is quite solid and well-built. There's a nice positive click on the small tools (bottle opener, etc) and the knife/saw have solid liner-lock mechanisms. The knife blade is reasonably sharp right out of the box. The scissors are fantastic. They're large, strong, and sharp. They steal the show on this tool. They're spring-loaded like the pliers and both are very smooth. If you don't want / need the scissors, maybe look elsewhere as they do add a bit of bulk / weight. Speaking of weight, it comes in at 8.75 oz on my scale... compared to 8.5 for the Leatherman Wave. I don't care that it doesn't come with a sheath... It fits perfectly into a Condor belt TQ pouch, which is part of my bugout kit. I'm sure it's made of inferior materials compared to the Wave, and I don't know how it'll stand up to daily use compared to a Wave. But price is probably the biggest reason people buy this and for $30 doesn't disappoint. I'm very happy with it.

Robust and Affordable
When it comes to pocket tools and everyday carry, I'm not one to be a snob on the type of metal or where it was made or whether it can turn coal into gold. As a trucker, things get lost quite frequently on the job. So after losing my esteemed Sheffield multi-tool I got from my uncle nearly a decade ago, it was time to find a replacement. I wasn't actively shopping as my job situation changed so I'm not in the field anymore doing pickup and delivery and instead for the most part doing a "line haul". When I read that there's mostly positive sentiment for this particular tool (and a nice video I saw in the discussion page) I figured I'll grab it. Not in any hurry so waiting for the drop to finalize was no big deal. And I'm actually really surprised in how robust this unit is. It feels solid in the hand, with good actuation force on all the tools. I figured the scissors would make the unit overall unweildly but it wasn't. Both the blade and the serrated saw are locking so they don't fold back in on you. And the clip seems solid enough that it should keep it in my pocket even when working under the truck laying down or something. And at the price, it really won't hurt my feelings if I did lose it, especially compared to more premium brands that you pay exponentially more for, for only marginally more features or better metal quality. This is my first ever Massdrop purchase, and let's hope it doesn't let me down in the future!

Overall, the quality is pretty impressive for the price. Of course it is nowhere near Victorinox Swiss Tool (5x the price), etc., but it is miles away from those cheap no-name advertising multitools - items that companies hand out with their logo slapped on it. The fold out/fold in action is pretty positive on all tools and the tools are actually usable. However, on mine, its main function (pliers) is broken from the get go without ever using it. When the pliers are being closed, the wirecutter blades come into edge-on-edge contact and prevent further closing of the pliers. When you wiggle the handles laterally and/or press them harder, the pliers finally close, but are misaligned then. It got slightly better after unscrewing and putting back the wirecutter blades and closing the pliers many times, but it still feels very rough with hard stop and started wearing out dents on the wirecutter... Maybe some shimming would help, but it would put the blades farther apart and could cause "twisting" the pliers while cutting. Seems like the wirecutter misses some "lead on", when it would start to rub on each other on the edges (like scissors do) and lead both ends onto each other while maintaining pressure. Strangely, there is no such problem when folding the pliers in, the wirecutter does not stall the folding action.

UsernameWasTakenLooks like they installed the incorrect cutter blades on yours, or milled it out improperly.

They're supposed to be parallel with the edge of the pliers whereas the left one on yours is bent.

Broke after a few usage.. Drop customer service totally useless
I don't use multiple often, bought this one for the full size scissors.. I must have used it 5 times (mainly the scissors) and a part in the handle broke) reached out to drop customer service and they couldn't do anything! Did not even provide me with the manufacturer details for warranty! I wouldn't recommend buying this knife or buying from this site!

Broken quickly
I barely used this and the scissors broke. Drop.com was no help and the manufacturer doesn't seem to maintain a website.

Well made and I consider this to be "As-Advertised" for sure. It has a very good set of scissors, which is good to have in a pinch, tools and knife included are also as-advertised and work fine. I did pinch my hand a bit with pliers, but I don't know how that could be avoided if grip is too high on the tool (mine was). My ONLY complaint is that it comes in a bag with a draw-string vs. a belt pouch. A draw-string bag is of zero use really. I have a generic belt pouch, but that is what I would have looked for if I were buying in a store. This tool is beefy and would not be welcome in a pocket of pants.  This tool is a Very robust & well finished tool that I plan on keeping in the truck aid kit. Despite that missing pouch, I rate it at 5 stars because the tool is definitely well made & I knew about the pouch issue going in. I may grab another for brother-in-law gift!

PNWNativeWhat I meant by that remark is that it Does come in a bag that is of no use, rather it should have come with a belt pouch - while a belt pouch might cost a bit more to include than the fabric bag, it would have been 100% more useful with this tool. thanks,

for both price and delivery, AliExpress is better than Drop. sorry, but this is true.

Amazing quality!
The build quality of this thing is just outstanding! I've been using a leatherman micra so far, which works wonderfully. But to finally have a full-size multitool is amazing! And it feels really sturdy.
