Improving upon its predecessor, Nikon's new D7200 features an upgraded EXPEED 4 processing engine, an ISO range from 100 to 25,600—two full stops higher than the D7100—and the first of Nikon’s DSLR line with built-in WiFi connectivity and Near Field Communication. Photographers are now able to browse captured images, instantly share via text, email, or social media, and use their smartphone as both a monitor and wireless remote.
Note: This drop is limited to 20 Nikon D7200's.
A 24.2 MP DX-format CMOS image sensor captures stills and video with complete resolution. With a high-speed frame rate of 6 fps continuous shooting, the D7200 is ideal for action and sports photography. Its Advanced Multi-CAM 3500 II autofocus sensor is able to accurately detect 51 focal points even in very low lighting conditions. A number of new picture control options including Flat Picture Control, Clarity Control, and Finer Control can be monitored on its 3.2-inch LCD screen.
With wide-angle to telephoto capabilities, the Nikkor 18- to 140-millimeter lens utilizes the complete power of the DX-format image sensors found in the D7200. It features a 7.8x zoom, four stops of vibration reduction, and a silent wave motor for clearer shots and quiet operation.
