Worked great until my lack of care ruined it
Bought this for overnight security work. I'm the type to leave my duty belt in my car, and the temp changes ruptured the batteries I had left in it and destroyed the flashlight after a year or so. It worked super great though, and I would have bought this again if it had been available at the time.

Great for what it is
If you understand what you're getting (a AA powered flashlight) this exceeds expectations. Has good on time, and a relatively sleek design. The squared off handle might throw people off, but it can be more secure than a round one. I think the biggest downside is the handle shape could be augmented with better grip, and the "heatsink" fins could've been place closer to the diode for more efficiency

super brigt!
this is my first "real" flashlight in the sense it isnt smaller than my palm.
it is VERY bright, dont look into it on the highest or second highest setting.
I like the different modes as well as the strobe.
on the mid setting you can set this on its end and it will light up a room if the ceilings are painted white.
It does get hot, almost uncomfortably so if left on he highest setting for more than a few mins but the fluited heatsink like design helps, the black paint doesn't help for heat dissipation.

This is a robust and practical torch!
The more I’ve used this torch, the more I like it. It makes sense all around. The heft to the overall unit feels good in the hand. It is really well made. Feels like it will last forever! Be warned, it does go through batteries quickly at its highest setting, but the output at that level is really far reaching.

Great build quality
Great quality for the price. I wear this light every day as a Formann for a general contractor so it stands up to the task for hard use. Would like to see it with a focus adjustment but the focus of the light is ok as it is.
