This is an amazing torch. Just back from trips through Thailand and Vietnam, including caving, hiking, visiting historical sights. The light is extraordinary - feels like headlights on my car. In the cave, when I turned it on full, the guide was astounded as the cavern filled with light. The dimming works extremely well, and even at the lowest level, it provides adequate light for guiding the way. Using the 18625 battery I got from Nitecore (online somewhere), I did not have to charge it for the last 3 weeks, even though was using it fairly freely, while being conscious to turn off or dim when full brightness was not needed. Extremely well made, solid feeling, could not be happier with it.
I like the torch a lot. I am going to the 18650 batteries for all my lights, and this one fits what I was looking for. I like the rotary switch, but I could see it being difficult with big, bulky gloves. The thinner gloves should be fine. I have way too many on/off lights with complicated sequences to get to the setting I want. Not with this one. Turn the dial and keep turning until I get what I need. Mine came with a nice nylon carry case.
I love the adjustability of the rotary switch just wish it was a little bit easier to turn on, and operate. It works well but I don't have the best dexterity in my hands/fingers so it can be aggravating at times. All in all it does what it says and is a great light.
This light has what I've been waiting for, it's all about the switch
So many of the Super flashlights are bright but the switches suck, you have to cycle through all the choises wasting a lot of battery power very aggravating
This one smoothly flows from very low to super bright
Just the right size
Love it !
No idea if the light is any good as the drop is grossly misleading. The light doesn't come with a battery even though it is implied via specs and photos that it did and never says it doesn't.
Staying relevant? What are you talking?
Why are you so angry? The way you respond tells me very clearly you do not buy flashlight much. It’s not that the company do not want to ship you batteries, most shipping courier won’t allow shipping items with batteries. Mind you these are 18350-18650 batteries, not your commonly used AA batteries. Nitecore is a pretty reputable brand for flashlights. I have not tried this model, but I know their products are quality items and lasts. And at this price, it’s not too bad. If you do not want to spend money on this caliber if flashlight, then go to your local hardware shop and get one. You’ll be surprised those cheaper ones might even cost more than this. And if you do not know what you are talking about, don’t say too much and listen to people who knows. Kids these days.
KashyevBatteries get shipped hundreds of thousands of times a day, in and with, thousands of other items and your age-discriminatory obfuscation is noted.
Just because your favorite small-time manufacturer chooses not to ship with batteries doesn't mean anything but the fact that they don't want to pay for it. It has zero to do with reputation and all to do with cost-cutting.
Your "but no one sells flashlight ever include battery" is obviously a lie and I called you out on it. Whether or not you want to continue lying is up to you.
Lumens are as advertised. Build is nitecore quality. Just really don’t like the rotary switch. Makes it very hard to turn on/off and adjust. If this is an indoor/shop or home light it’s ok. Don’t use it outside where your fingers will be cold or you’ll need gloves
Nicely built, but brightness does not seem 1000 lumen.
I have several lower power lights that seem as bright or even brighter than this nitecore. I love the size, and infinite brightness adjustability, but with a fully charged 18650 it is just as bright as other 500 lumen light and a 450 lumen light I have. Still nice for $40.
