Way brighter than I expected
Apparently my friends are tired of me asking them to check out my new flash light.

Excellent
Great little torch/flashlight. Love the 90° head. Beam is about perfect spread with no dead spots. I bought 2 and both are great.

jimmy_74Still like the beam etc but one the led burnt out after probably 30-50 hours use. Seems to have melted some of the circuits which is unfortunate.

The switch is too easily thrown. I almost set myself alight while napping. I was carrying it in a belt holster. When I rolled over, it powered on yet I did not know it. Needless to say, things got a little hot. The good things: being able to tell the charge level through a click of the on-off switch; starting the light at its lowest level of illumination; an excellent magnet in the base; a good colour for the LED. Rated four stars as I don’t give out five stars —nothing is perfect

I don't usually get excited by flashlights, but this one seemed especially useful and versatile. The 90 degree tilt and strong magnetic base make it super handy as a work light, especially around the car/truck. You can hang it on your shirt, wheel well, car hood, whatever. Pretty handy and super bright!

poor design - switch placement is not good
Bought the light and was impressed with the features and brightness.. Placed it in my pack and left it there for a few weeks.. Went to use it and the batteries were dead, thought okay maybe the ones they ship with are substandard, replaced with new quality batteries and put it back in the pack. Grabbed it to use again today (approx 10 days since I replaced batteries) and the batteries are dead. The location of the on/off switch allows the light to be turned on while being carried. I am now carrying it with the batteries removed - which creates the hassle of needing to insert them each time you use the light. Not an ideal situation if you need it during a blackout ..

Big-TYeah, it looks like this needs a lockout feature. Fenix lights lights and most others reputable brands have this. Double clicking locks it and you’d have to double click to unlock.

Externally they seem like nice lights so far. I bought 2. Similar (high) quality to other Nitecores I have. The way the button works is a deal killer. It doesn't have a memory as to the last setting (always comes on in super low which is so low you can't tell it even turned on unless outside in the pitch black.) To turn it on/off you have to hold the button for a second or so which is backwards to EVERY other flashlight I own. Had I known this I wouldn't have ordered them. The tilt and magnetic base features are great but that switch operation kills it overall.

It is nice for the money On/Off is iffy
I like the quality and the concept of the 45* adjustable head. The on/off system leaves A LOT to be desired though. its a firm press and hold for on, then it goes to the LOWEST setting, each rapid click after intensifies the light but, with gloves on,stress situations or cold weather this will be tricky at best. Magnetic base is nice , if a little annoying in the pocket with my keys. Great quality Iffy on the "features" LOATH the on off

I was happy with this flashlight while it worked for simple fact that the magnetic base and adjustable head were super useful to me every day at work. I like the holster that you can Velcro to your belt and easily access the light with another Velcro strap. I still use the holder today, but unfortunately the light shorted out in just a few weeks. It started by shutting off whenever it was placed on its mag base, and then got to the point that it would shut off whenever it was just held in place by the magnet, even if I gingerly let it seat. Now it’s completly shorted out and I have to figure out how to replace the ribbon cable that moves when the head flexes. This is my main issue with this light, but I must also say that the reflector was not impressive when the light was functional. The led was clearly visible and dominant in the center of the shine, not diffused to create an even lightened area. I order the klarus flex head recently to replace this light, hopefully it’s a better drop.

The quality and feature of Nitecore is really good, but I have a bad experience with MT21C, the on/off button got problem just 1 week after using it. Like a loose connection inside the button, for the price I'm hoping a better experiences.

Very bright and lightweight
I didn't read close enough. While the batteries are rechargeable, there is no way to recharge in the light.
