The Orient Envoy is like a look back into another era. It could be the printed track around the chapter ring, or maybe the large Roman numerals. Or it could be the slim breguet-style hands or the open-heart at 9 o’clock. Whatever the case, the watch has undeniable old-school charm. Behind the veil is Orient’s own F6T22 22-jewel movement with a 40-hour power reserve. The movement is manual-wind compatible and offers hacking seconds. To look after it, the Envoy is made with a stainless steel case and mineral crystal. Measuring 43 millimeters, the case is large enough to pair well with larger wrists, but not so large that it will look out of place on smaller ones. Another surprise is the exhibition caseback to give you a peek at the movement on the flip side.
