Hybrid IEMs With Removable Cable
Following the success of the original Oriolus, Mini Audio created the Oriolus Forsteni: another hybrid offering, this time for about half the price. Named for the gray-collared oriole, a songbird local to Indonesia, the Forsteni features two balanced armature drivers and one dynamic driver inside a glossy black plastic housing with silver-colored accents. In the box, you’ll find a removable two-pin connector cable with a dark matte plastic coating, along with a number of foam and silicone ear tips and other accessories. As for the sound? One Head-Fi reviewer calls it “a great choice for the listener looking for a more neutral-sounding IEM, with a focus on details rather than warm-sounding bass and mids.”
