Ortofon e-Q7

The first Ortofon IEM to feature a moving armature driver, the e-Q7 combines sleek design and balanced sound in one lightweight package. Inside the sturdy aluminum enclosure, this new style of driver offers the speed and resolution of balanced armature with the extended low end typically found with dynamic. To increase the life of your IEM, the e-Q7 is built with a strain relief at each earpiece, made from an elastomer with just the right amount of hardness to prevent kinking and breaking. The short nozzle puts the housing nearly flush with the ear canal, and can be worn straight down or over your ear.

To minimize microphonics, the 4-foot silver-plated OFC cable has a plastic sheath above the Y-split and woven nylon below, and ends in a 3.5-millimeter stereo plug. Plus, the e-Q7 arrives with a treasure trove of accessories to help you find and maintain the right fit and sound, including three pairs of silicone single-flange ear tips, another pair of Comply T400 ear tips, a filter-cleaning tool, and a filter-changing kit with two spares. Along with a felt-lined case for at-home storage, this IEM comes with a leather case for safekeeping on the go.
