Ostry is known for making well-liked, budget-friendly IEMs like the KC06, and the KC07 model brings those qualities to a higher-end design. It features a dual driver configuration, with one custom Knowles balanced-armature driver and one 10-millimeter dynamic driver per ear Read More
Some guy commented that these are better than his sony N3AP's... that implies these are quite the little overachievers since, by all accounts, the N3's are great

Why are these so much more expensive than the older 06's I got in 2015 for about $49.
SabarnaI currently have the primo 8 and have had them for a while. They are a fantastic IEM at 200 and under. They are balanced with good midrange, nice bass and extension for older quad BA IEM, detailed and yet smooth treble which is very easy to listen to, and finally good imaging. I have yet to hear the new kc07 but I owned the k06 and they were great for the price back then, but i have not heard these so I will give you feedback on what I do have. The primo 8s are a great price and I believe were 99 around christmas time which is fantastic.(just checked on amazon and they are 98 like new condition from them... seriously. I would pick up another pair if I hadnt broken the bank on my mother's dog's vet bill.) So read some more if you need too, check around but for 99 dollars like new I would go for it and be happy.
Well "Better" is relative right? There are differences which have advantages/disadvantages. I personally prefer mmcx due to it's rotational ability. But some mmcx implementations leave much to be desired, so it can come down to manufacturers implementation and manufacturing, QA.
BigBoyLokiLike ILoveStuff said there are tons of nice quality cables for good prices via the web. I own these, earsonics sm64, Audiofly AF1120(their totl universal), and some cheaper stuff as well chi-fi and budget IEMs. The KC06 were very good budget solution and if the KC07 keeps up with the quality for price theme that it's predecessor did it will be a very competitive IEM. I think there are worse chances out there for purchases. But I also know if you are concerned you could always get the primo 8 for 98 $ like new at places which a fantastic deal as well. There are many good to great options at the 100-200 prices level in comparison to a couple years ago.
do not get the Ibasso IT01s mixed up with the IT01. The 01s is different tuning than the original and sounds great. Please read all the reviews you can on IT01s.
